Cindy's Story
I got married in 1972, had a daughter in 1974 and a son in 1976. I went to Bismarck Hospital School of Nursing and received my RN diploma in 1984. I worked in the hospital and clinic settings for 10 years and then, while working, completed my BSN at the University of Mary in 1996. I continued to work and completed half of my graduate degree in nursing at the University of Mary, got divorced in 1997 and moved to MN in 1998. emarried in 2004 to a wonderful man! I worked in an out-patient mental health clinic at Hennepin County Medical Center until October 2013 and then started my own corporation, Psych Nurse, P. C., worked 3 days a week as an independent contractor/Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Burnsville, MN and retired in 2020. I have 3 grandchildren, 3 grand-dogs, and 1 grand-cat! I enjoy spending time with my husband, children, and grandchildren, cooking, reading, traveling, being with friends, playing piano, and sitting on the deck with a nice glass of Pinot Noir! Life is good!!
