Cindy's Story
I married Roger Boyd 2/17/72. We are still married and have 2 grown children and 1 granddaughter. I am an RN specializing in Pediatrics Intensive Care. I currently work for the Cy-Fair ISD as a Special Ed Nurse caring for Special Needs school children with chronic severe medical problems. I commute from Katy to our ranch in Grimes County and live on the ranch 4 days out of 7. My son is a Lt. with the Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice. My daughter is district manager for Starbucks in the Medical Center District. I will be retiring in June of 2012 and moving full time to the ranch where we raise Registered Brangus Cattle and Quarterhorses.

My grandfather was my hero. He taught me so much about ranching and business. My strong faith and moral character come from him.
My current age is 57. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be old and gray. I was so completely wrong.
I still love jeans and boots

If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have coffee, coffee, and coffee to be able to deal with the day-to-day.

If I won $100 million, I'd give half of it to my church, then spend the rest on my kids, my granddaughter and my ranch.
My best friend would tell you I'm outgoing, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as shy.
