Suzanne's Story
Life
I moved to Arizona in 1976 after my family moved there. I worked in lighting showrooms for several years, where I met my husband.
I married in 1982 to a wonderful guy and we just celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary this past Oct.
I have worked with my husband for the past 24 years in a Lighting Rep. agency in Arizona.
We have an office in Tempe with 17 employee's and a small office in Tucson with 3 people.
I currently only work 3 day's a week as the bookkeeper and I am enjoying having 4 day's off in a row.
We do not have any children, we choose...Expand for more
to be business owners instead.
My two brothers and my sister live here in Phoenix also and now have family's of their own.
My mother passed away 9 years ago of cancer, but my father is still here with us in an assisted living home only a few miles from my home so I get to see him quite often.
I visited New York a few times since leaving and I miss it alot. I think that I will alway's love the east coast and a Long Islander at heart.
My husband is from Arizona and he loves it here, so I think my chances of moving back to the Island is pretty slim to none.
