Clare's Story
I graduated from Vocational in the Printing Trade. I worked for Burgess Beckwith Publishing in Minneapolis prior to serving in U.S. Air Force 1952 -1956 as a radar/radio mechanic serving in Korea for one year. Graduated from Long Beach State College in California in 1960 in Business Administration. Worked 34 years with the 3rd largest Pharmaceutical Company in the world. ny's Hall of Fame. I have been a member of the service club of the YMCA (Y's Men International) for 46 plus years and still remain an active member. During my service I have held various local, regional, national and international offices including International President 1983/84. After living in So. California for 40 years, 9 years in Portland, Oregon area, currently for the past 5 years in Olympia, Washington area. Married 57 years to Nancy Pratt of Fullerton, California, 5 children, 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren
