Clarke's Story
I graduated WSU in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, then got commissioned in the US Air Force and served on active duty as an Intelligence officer until 1992. At that time I separated active duty, moved to Georgia, and worked in a variety of civilian jobs (while doing the Air Force reserves on the weekends) until 2001. After 9/11, I came back onto active duty, and have been here ever since. During my time in the USAF I have served at Mather AFB in California, Lowry AFB in Colorado, Hurlburt Field AFB in Florida, Howard AFB in the Republic of Panama, the Pentagon in Washington DC, Robins AFB in Georgia, ...Expand for more
Headquarters United States Southern Command in Miami, and now Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, NV. I got married in 1990 and have two sons, and in 2004 I received a Masters of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Currently I am on a 12-month Air Force deployment to Iraq.
I think often of Shadle Park and the great friends and memories I made there. I am happy to tell others I am from Spokane, and have a great respect for the people from that city - when I remember my classmates from Shadle, now close to 30 years after graduation, it makes me feel quite proud. We all turned out pretty well, didn't we?
