Claude's Story
Life
Since high-school, I've seen a lot of the world. I lived for four years in the North West Territories before returning to university to study Latin, Greek and Ancient History. I studied in Saskatoon (83-87), Hamilton (87-89), and then Oxford, England, where I lived for six years while finishing my doctorate.

I started as an assistant professor at McMaster in Hamilton, Ontario.
I spent 2001/2 in Bonn, Germany and will spend next year at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie NY.
Through all this I dragged my ever-patient wife of 22 years, Marilyn, and inscrutable son, Mark (now 20!).
