After high school I... Went to Western for my freshman year, then to Michigan State for my sophomore year, and finally graduated from Wayne State in occupational therapy. I planned on going on to medical school, but then I found out that I really enjoyed OT, and never looked back. One thing I did pick up at Michigan State... my husband Phil. We were married in 1975, and moved to Lansing where he finished school in civil engineering. He worked for the Highway Department for 27 years, and then took an early retirement at age 50. After that he worked for an engineering consulting firm half of the time and volunteered in several faith-based community organizations the rest of the time... oh yes, and he played golf. Lots of golf. Our three daughters are all doing well. Megan (27), a new attorney in the Chicago area, got married last summer. Katie (25) worked in Boston for two years doing video production and editing, and now is in Tampa, Florida. Allie (20) is a junior at MSU, double majoring in Comparative Cultures and Politics (James Madison College) and Theater.
