Life
Wow, 30 years that's a whole lifetime ago. Gosh, I wish I knew then what I know now, I would have done things alot differently. I have always stayed in the area. I live in San Jose. My Mom and Dad are still in the same house, that street is timeless. In 1971 I married Steve Cogger (SHS Class of '66) we have two beautiful children Jennifer (age 20) and Stephen Jr (age 19). The children are my greatest accomplishment. In 1992 Steve and I separated and were finally divorced in 1996. My life now, is of a single parent with 2 young adult children. Need I explain much more? In 1993 I met the love of my life Rick Gillis and we have been together ever since. Actually our daughters introduced us to one another. ecutive Assistant at Applied Materials in Santa Clara, CA. I haven't done anything unusual or exciting with my life, just got married, had children, got divorced and now I am happier than I have been in my adult life. I know that I was pretty carefree and happy during our days as SHS. Rick and I spend alot of time in Santa Cruz, him being an ex-surfer and me just loving the place for chillin'. (Like my kids would say, "Mom's going to the beach to chill"). Santa Cruz has always been a special place for me and always will. Well, that's my life in a nutshell and I can't wait for retirement, to get on with my life. I am aiming for age 55 to retire. Gosh, remember when we all thought 20 was old???
