Claudia Barner:  

After Shaw I attended Baldwin-Wallace College and Fairview Park Hospital School of Nursing. Married Dave in Aug. of 1967 having dated off and on through high school and college. After three years in Cleveland including the riots, the Cuyahoga River fire and one of the least sunny worst weather years I could recall we moved to Rapid City S.D. Our experiment in small town living lasted 3 years and we moved to the east side suburbs of Phoenix 1972. I worked in a psychiatric crisis clinic and Dave taught high school Sciences. We had our daughters born in 73 and 78 and I went back to OB nursing part time after a year at home with Kris. I was a hospice nurse for the last and most rewarding period in my career, retiring after a bad merger. I managed a Quilt Shop after that and then designed floral arrangements in a flower shop for three years. It became less enjoyable and I joined Dave in retirement which has been a great deal of fun Now, I swim a mile every day cycle at least 20 up to 60 ...Expand for more
