Claudia's Story
Life
After I graduated in 1971 I attended Bryant & Stratton Business College in Alameda. Upon completion of a General Business program I went to work for Granite Construction Company in Watsonville. In 1974 I married. In 1978 I had my first son, Christopher and in 1981 we moved to Manteca, California. I continued working for Granite Construction Company until I had my second son, Justin, in 1984. In 1985 I went to work for a trucking broker and I bought a home in Manteca, California. lock, California. I woked for a couple of different companies and did some in home care for friends of the family. I now have two grandchildren, a grandson and a granddaughter. They are the light of my life. I moved back to Watsonville in February 2004 and I am now working for the new Home Depot on Green Valley Road. I love my job and the time I am able to still spend with my mom and step dad in
Watsonville and my dad in Santa Cruz. In 2007 I took a new position with Home Depot. I am now in merchandising for the District in my area. I travel quite abit but the job is very rewarding.
