Clay (Clayton)'s Story

Life Here's the stuff you discover about yourself after you're grown. It is quite apparent that I had attention deficit disorder as a student. Back then, there was no name for it, but I can clearly see that I am the adult poster child for it. I had a horrible time concentrating in class and I was easily distracted by things like birds outside the window and pencil sharpeners grinding. Add to that being one of the youngest in our class, being sheltered by my parents and you have a young man who, shall we say, arrived "late to the party." After high school I attended college for two years at Central Misouri State University, majoring in Radio/TV before launching out on my own in a career that would constantly be changing with technology. In 1981 I took a four year detour by joining the Army and moving to Monterey, California. I remained actively involved in broadcasting by working with the Armed Forces Radio/TV Service, working in news and having my own radio show. In 1985 I exited the Army and moved to Florida where I live today. I finished my college degree, still working in broadcasting and the entertainment industry full time. My college career has spanned 12 years, BUT I graduated with over 15 years experience in my field. I've worked for several network affiliates (ABC, NBC, Fox), Disney and Un...Expand for more
iversal Studios over the years until the late 1990's when I decided to go into business for myself. About that time my wife decided she would go down a different path in life and end a 13 year marriage. From that marriage I have 3 boys; Chris, Corey and Cody. Yes, they are all "C's". Not sure what was going through my mind when I did that. In mid 2002 I remarried and have continued building my business to the point of expansion. You have unknowingly seen my work, as it has aired on ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, The History Channel, Entertainment Tonight and many many more. Life has been interesting. I have worked with many celebrities, a host of interesting people and have been to places and seen things only a few ever do. On a side note...What you see on TV and Movies IS NOT REAL! Most of these actors and actresses are just as screwed up as you or I. They do have money, but live very strange lives and do not live in the reality you and I know. I do not, for a minute, envy their lifestyle. I would have to say, however, that I really enjoy what I do and can't imagine doing anything else. I enjoy life, try to keep a positve outlook and I love to laugh. Life is good. Oh yeah, I REALLY enjoyed high school, band and theater. Wouldn't trade them for anything. Well, that's it. Hope you enjoyed an inside look.
