Life
My Spouse,
I meet Clarence in Baton Rouge, LA. We were introduced by my cousin -- who I had asked to introduce me to a young man who was a hardworker and had potential. We actually drove over to his house to talk to his roommate about something else and Clarence was just getting home from work. He says now that he was minding his own business and now the rest is history! We have been married since July 8, 1979.
My Kids,
I have two wonderful daughters -- a 23 year old and a 21-year old. They both graduated from Baton Rouge Magnet High School.
Our oldest daughter, Tiffany graduated from Clark Atlanta University in May, 2006. Shen then worked for a year with Americorp at LSU (Louisiana State University) in Baton ...Expand for more
Rouge, LA. Now she just completed her first semester of graduated school at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL.
Our youngest daughter, Clarissa is a student at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA. She got married to Raymond Demond Russell in November, 2006. They now have a son (my first grandchild!), Raymond Demond Russell, Jr. born in August, 2007.
My Grandson,
I am so excited and blessed to be a grandmother. Raymond, Jr. is such a blessing and a joy. Of course, I don't spoil him at all (lol)! I am so happy that Clarissa and her husband live here in Baton Rouge because that means that I get to keep my grandson alot -- and I'm loving every minute of it. It is truly so different being a grandparent.
