Raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Parents Marjorie And Burley died 1993,Part owners of Johnston's Quality Flowers, 3 brothers, Allen, Eliot, and Jeff, 8 Johnston cousins, 3 Allen cousins, third generation at Saint Annes High School 1960-1964, Arkansas Boys State with Bill Clinton 1963, transferred to Northside High School graduated 1964, Georgia Tech 1964 - 1968, Industrial Engineering, Married 1967-2005, 4 sons and 1 daughter, 11 grand children,the oldest is 21.
