Military
Sand, sand and more sand... That was Saudi. I remember the evenings of picking guitar with Dave Allen, Al Mayle and a few others. I also remember digging bunkers, filling sand bags and catching lizards. I got pulled out of our regular company and sent to "Task force Texico." We were running JP4 into Southern Iraq, dodging landmines and enemy patrols. But I mostly remember my friends, and Dave was chief among them.
