Clayton's Story
Hey there - story since high school - decided college was not for me after 1 class.
Worked at Mars for a year or two then moved on to Bally's in the collection department, moved up until I was working in the legal department.
Moved on to start working for USF&G insurance - moved up and up then took a job with Zurich Insurance. Moved up until I had an awesome job adjusting Marine claims which was one of my most favorite jobs. Just didn't pay want I wanted.
Got my MCSE and took a job as a computer repair person for a small company, and turned that position into a one man show as system administrator.
Recently moved to the MVA as a system admin there working as a contractor. Trying to get a DOD job in Aberdeen making what I am making now! That would probably be my last move.
Now for the personal side. I drank way too much in my early 20's - lived with a woman - I was 21 she was 33 and had 3 k...Expand for more
ids - was cool for awhile but didn't work out.
Met my ex wife at a party I was throwing - she liked to throw parties so it was cool. I proposed 6 months later - people say you know when it's the one and that is TRUE! 2 months later she was prego - suprize it was twins. 8 yrs later we were different people and separated - now I live about a mile away from her so taking care of the kids is easy. I have them 1/2 time so it's a little challenging but the only way I would change my relationship with my kids is if I could have them 100%. Now they are 12 and we all have a great relationship - wish things between Maria and I worked out but that's not the hand life dealt.
I am into running and power yoga - stopped lifting weights a few years ago.
All in all life is good - not really the way I thought it would turn out - but whose life turned out like they thought? I bet its a small number.
