Cliff's Story
Well it has been a long time and quite the journey since the days at Canyon High School. I have a lot of great memories (at least the ones I can still remember) of growing up in New Braunfels. Those were wild times. Plenty of time in the river and hanging with friends. Of course that was before Schlitterbahn or the fancy tube shoot.
After high school I went to Texas State Technical Institute in Waco. From there I was hired by Sandia National Labs in Albuquerque to be a microprocessor design engineer. That lasted a few years and then I took a job as a sales engineer for TRW. They moved me to El Paso where I meet my lovely wife, DeeAnn. We had our first daughter, Tabitha, there as well. That was the beginning of a whole new chapter in my life.
Not that I started to let life get boring. At that time the entrepreneurial bug hit me and I began starting businesses. Let's see...there was Schertz Enterprises, Schertz Woodworking, International Electronic Services, Mountaintop Software, S&S Technologies, Danco Transmissions, Call Us Plumbing, Camisa Technologies, and now Tiempo Development. I may have left a few out.

ay I get a real kick out of starting and growing companies.
In 1983 we moved back to Albuquerque and had three more kids, Heather, Cathy and Thomas. In 1994 the company that I owned, S&S Technologies needed to move to Phoenix, so we loaded up the Suburban and headed to the desert. We have lived here ever since and love it.
My kids are mostly grown now. Tabitha graduated from Arizona State University, is married and has my first grandbaby, Ryan. Heather graduated from Arizona State University and moved to Beverly Hills. Cathy graduated from Northern Arizona University and is getting married in October. Thomas just graduated from High School and is headed for college.
My family is mostly ASU Sun Devils (except Cathy - she is a rebel :)). My wife graduated from ASU and now teaches fifth grade and loves it. I went back and got my MBA at ASU in 2003.
I often get homesick for New Braunfels. Who knows one of these days I may have to go home......well....maybe not...DeeAnn would kill me if I moved her away from our grandbaby:)
