Clifford's Story

College Attended California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo California from 1975 - 1979. Majored in Biochemistry. Served as Army ROTC Cadet Battalion Commander 1977 - 1979; awarded George C. Marshall Award. Graduated with honors. Military Enlisted in army August 1972. Airborne qualified January 1973. Trained Special Forces Light & Heavy weapons and as SF medic. Discharged Aug 1975 at rank of sergeant. Commissioned Lieutenant May 1979; attended USU military medical scho...Expand for more

Tours in San Antonio, Texas; Korea; Tacoma, Washington; Oahu Hawaii; Bethesda, Maryland; and in Fayetteville, NC as Chief of Emergency Medicine Womack Medical Center and as Dean of Joint Special Operations Medical Training Center. Last served as Interim Chairman Dept. of Military & Emergency Medicine Uniformed Services University. Retired January 2004 as Colonel. Currently working as a staff emergency medicine physician at Carlisle Regional Medical Center in Carlisle, PA.
