Life
Hello to all my old friends,
After graduating DHS I enlisted in the USAF I spent 2yrs all stateside. I got an early honorable discharge to help my family after my father's death.I went to McNeese State majoring in Bus. Admin. (on the GI bill) after my 2 brothers graduated high school.
Met and married Darlene in 1976. We have 2 sons Brandon (33) & Dane (29) both have graduated college & are working with me in my financial planning practice. They are both continuing their education Brandon seeking a MBA & Dane is seeking a Masters in International Relations.
After a career culminating in my becoming National Sales Director for a major Financial mtg organization I decided to form my own company.I am enjoying my new challenge enormously.
I get back to DeQuincy at least 4 or 5 times a year and try ...Expand for more
to maintain all my old friendships when I get home. We have lived in Sugar Land, Tx. for the last 19 yrs,We LOVE it here. I've found a Great church (The Freedom Center) that we have been active members for more than 16 yrs.
Darlene and I enjoy traveling (short road trips 2 or 3 days)& crusing,time with my children & grand daughter Grace,& getting together with friends.
I have such fond memories of my childhood & school years in DeQuincy.Cub scouts with Mrs.Alexander as our den mother looking back I really feel for her she had Gary Applegate,Mike Yellot,Dunkie Spears,ME,& several other wild boys yet she always kept her cool.What a nice lady.Really we weren't that bad, just sorta real real active.
I have had a great life that has been enriched by everyone I grew up with.
