Clinton's Story
I worked for BP until I could get my credentials in Computer drafting technology. I then went to work for Whitson Engineering from 1991-2001. I
worked for the Manitowoc Crane Group in Austin 2001-2004. Went to work for the European company Atlas-Copco LLC from 2004-2008. I had interesting experiences traveling to Europe. I left Atlas last year to go back to school I am going into the the teaching field getting a Masters of Arts in Humanities in History- Secondary Education.
The certification I am taking will allow me to teach all History courses, all Social Science Courses, Psychology, Anthropology, Geography, Government, Business Admin. etc, etc. About 16 courses total including some colledge courses. I would like to move to the Pacific Oregon coastline to settle down.
I was married from 1995-2009. 14 years.
Being recently divorced, I am not looking to jump on that train again until at least after my new degree is ...Expand for more
finished. If I can teach over seas, I am interested in moving to New Zealand.
That is down the road a bit.
I have no children or ties to my previous marriage which would have made my decisions much harder.
Went back for Master's/PhD in 2014 in History and Pol Science.
I am enjoying my freedom right now as I have been separated for over a year. We plan to remain friends. Sometimes marriage for some couples is not the best direction to go.
I lived in Austin from 1995-2008, but have moved back to attend the UH for my degree. I had two Universities walking distance from my estate in Georgetown, but none could offer exactly what I need here in Victoria. Also, living in my parents guest house cuts down on expenses.
I am a cancer survivor, beating the odds 10 years ago against Brain Cancer.
Divorce, Cancer, and its after effects has left me with a strong will and makes me look at life quite differently than before.
