Clyde Raines's Story
Life
I have been active duty Navy since 1982.... I spent four years in the surface fleet and then moved on to submarines in 1986. I married Valentina in March, 2001. I am a Senior Chief Electronics Technician serving aboard the USS PASADENA (SSN 752) in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
College
It took me too long to complete my degree. Stopping was the worst. Getting started again required a big push! I completed my Bachelors of Science degree in Management/Human Resources from Park University in October 2004.
One of my cousins said "just keep taking courses. You have nothing to lose but hair."
I'm starting my Masters studies now but anticipate getting little forward motion while attached to the PASADENA....
