The best kind of friend is the one you could sit on a porch with, never saying a word, and walk away feeling like that was the best conversation you've had. There is magic in long-distance friendships. They let you relate to other human beings in a way that goes beyond being physically together and is often more profound. ~Diana Cortes 「To my mind, the life of a lamb is no less precious than that of a human being. nwilling to take the life of a lamb for the sake of the human body. I hold that the more helpless a creature, the more entitled it is to protection by man from the cruelty of man. 」~Mahatma Gandhi Life is about learning to laugh through your tears, smile with your heart , and love without fear. It's about finding joy in the little things, and having compassion for every living thing from man to nature. Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain. It's about taking in everything around us, making every minute count. But most importantly life is about being you. Not losing sight of your dreams and beliefs, Taking everything life throws at you in your stride and not letting anyone knock you down. Life is what you make of it. :) x - Rosalind Dwan Manowitz (AKA Rosa/Roz) "Every atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics. You are all stardust. You couldn’t be here if stars hadn’t exploded. Because the elements, the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution weren’t created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars. And the only way they could get into your body is if the stars were kind enough to explode. So forget Jesus. The stars died so you could be here today." Lawrence Krauss".
