Life Hello All. I am still in the Marine Corps and am up for promotion to Lieutenant Colonel this fall. It's been a busy past couple of years. i was in Iraq for all of 2006 as the base engineer at Al Asad Marine Air base in Western Iraq. Before That I spent 10 Months in Russia traveling around Russia and the Former Soviet Union. It was awesome. My Russian, by the time I left was pretty good. Since then is a different story. I might need itagain soon if I go to Tbilisi, Georgia for 6 months to be a United Nations Observer. Before that I was stationed in Monterey, CA. I graduated in 2003 from the Naval Post Graduate School with my MA in National Security Affairs, and then spent a year in a language emersion program at the Defense Language Institute to learn Russian. Unfortuanately I missed out on Gulf War II, stuck ingrad school as a CNN warrior, but it was a great time. I was stationed at Camp Pendleton in San Diego for 3yrs before oing to Grad School.
