Life
I continue to work in the aviation field as a Customer Svc Rep & Line Ops Administrator(number cruncher), at Centennial Airport.(Denver Jet) The glorified gas station for the rich n famous & their cars of the skies.
My son, Tim is an Air Natl Guardsman at Buckley. He is an F-16 engine mechanic. When not on duty he goes to Aviation & Criminal Justice School at Metro State & works at Centennial Airport for a cpl corporate operators & their planes. He's almost done, but got sent to Iraq a year ago. The worst day of my life. U never know if u will ever see them again. It was the longest 45 days.(over Xmas & New Years) Now he's going to re-up again in June for more time. It's good money for a youngster & they pay ...Expand for more
for most of their schooling.
My husband closed his limousine business & is now transporting vehicles by trailer to surrounding states. His son is a student at CU business school. (finance and accounting) He will graduate in May 09.
Still waiting for the day when Both boys are out of the house. It's getting closer. They are starting to realize how expensive things are, when they choose to live with friends or on their own.
It's been great since my return to Colorado in 2000, after 13yrs in Chicagoland. Such great weather here. Lotsa sunshine! 75 during the day in Feb & March & snow at nite. Only in Colorado! Park your chair in a snowbank & get snowburn. Better than freezn your behind off with bone chilling cold.
