Colleen's Story
Life
Well, how do you sum up 25 years of living since graduating high school? Start from the beginning, I guess!
After high school, I went on to Southeastern Massachusetts University, obtained a Bachelors Degree in Finance. I began working in the mortgage/banking field and went on to Bryant College and obtained an MBA. I worked at Bank of Boston for 8 years and then got a job with a large mortgage company in Philadelphia.
I moved to Philadelphia in 1996 and had the time of my life! My job was going great and I met alot of good friends. I was in sales and travelled alot all over the United States. Unfortunately, the mortgage industry hit a snag in 1999 and the company I worked for closed. I had purchased a house in Westport Point in 1995, so I moved back to Massachusetts in 2000. he end of 2000.
I have since sold my house in Westport and bought one here in Philly. I got a new job, Regional Sales Manager with Countrywide Home Loans which subsequently was purchases by Bank of America. I'm still employed here 6 years later. I am a sales manager with reps in the midwest, midatlantic and southeast. My clients are mortgage bankers and we buy pools of mortgages from them.
I've had a great life to date and things just keep getting better. At 49 years old, I have met a wonderful man, Mike, that I have been with for 7 years. He has a daughter, Morgan, 19. She is a junior at Cornell University, and plays on the softball team. That takes up a big part of our life, travelling to watch softball.
I spend summers in Ocean City, Maryland and get up to Westport occasionally.
I hope to hear from anyone that may remember me!
