Life

We just celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday and I was reminded how thankful I am for all that God has provided for myself and my family this year and the many blessings he has given and grace he has shed our way. Today, I am especially thankful for the health of my daughters and grandsons and the love of my husband. My husband survived a near fatal heart attack last year and now is back to enjoying good health by the Lord's grace. Through the tough times, we have grown stronger as a couple and a family. God is good and life is a blessing and a wonderful gift. My prayers and blessings go out to all my friends, past and present. I feel each one of you have made a contribution to my life and I thank you for being a part of it. I love you all.

I have a new grandson, Austin Patrick and I am in love! Being a grandparent is such a blessing. I now have three beautiful grandsons and each are unique and special. Life has been a challenge this year with many lessons and test of character building challenges poured my way. I am finding life is not many times what you thought it would be but realizing each day needs to be approached with excitement of new personal growth and the simple pleasures of family, beauty everywhere and inner peace and happiness. I have so much to be thankful for and am learning to take each day and be thankful for what God is doing in my life and through me.
Take care of you, all my wonderful friends both past and present and God bless you all.

I have not been on classmates in some time. Life seems so busy these days. My grandsons are growing and developing their personalities and it is fun to watch. My middle daughter just got married a couple of months ago and that took alot of our time. Her new husband, Justin, just signed a new contract with the Denver Broncos. He was with the Balitmore Ravens, but was in his contract year and was ready for a change. They love it there, but I miss her terribly. Watch for him, Justin Bannan #97. He is...Expand for more
a starting DE. So far, he has been able to stay free of injury so praying for a good year for them.
We purchased a couple of scooters and love to spend our time taking day trips to just about anywhere. Even took them one weekend to our favorite spot, Monterey and Carmel and spent the weekend riding up and down along the ocean. We try to find as many local spots to mix with and meet new friends. Not much on site seeing and tourists traps.
Retirement still seems a far away dream. Have visions of me, the ocean, palm trees.....hmmm.....someday! Got ta keep those dreams alive! Life is good. Hope to see you all at the next reunion! Take care and write when you get a chance.
P.S. Oh yes, and on my definite "to do" list is seeing Italy!

Just found out my daughter, Sommer, is expecting a baby! Due mid September. We are excited to be grandparents once again. My son-in-law is threatening to name "him" Roco, so hoping for a grand daughter. LOL!! Hoping they won't name her "Rocoanne"! Other than that, life is about the same. I seem to be growing restless and longing for retirement and having dreams about traveling, play days with my munchkins and developing my tropical garden in my courtyard. Darn economy is killing me! I hope all my classmate buddies are doing well, enjoying good health and counting daily blessings! Love you all!

My daughter, Sommer, had her beautiful baby boy the first of September. He is now 3 months old and we love him so much. We now have 4 wonderful grandsons and each are special. Just found out that I have to have knee surgery so am dreading that but other than that, life is good! My son-in-law signed with the St. Louis Rams #95 so we spend most of our weekends watching football! Still working, retirement is still in the distant future it appears. Family is healthy and we feel we have so much to be thankful for. I hope all my buddies are still well. Take care and we'll catch up next year! I pray for a good year for everyone! Love ya all!
