Colleen's Story
After graduation I went to Penn State,then transferred to the University of Pennsylvania, School of Nursing. While there I joined the Navy. I served at the White House,aboard the Usns Sultan, troop transport ship;Usns Comfort,hospital ship;Vietnam;Persian Gulf and Iraq. Many other interesting places in between. My service included the Navy, the Army and the Marine Corps.I retired with 26 years. It was indeed an adventure!
I have 4 children and 4 grandchildren.All of the children have college degrees and my oldest son has his PHD in geology,LSU.
I have also been employed with the Dept of Commerce,Bureau...Expand for more
of Census,Veterans Administration,Tangipahoa Council on Aging,Southwest Louisiana War Veterans Home of Reserve, La and many other groups of a charitable goal.
I live in a rural setting on a farm in Independence, La just across Lake Ponchartrain from New Orleans.Very Southern life style. I am called a Damn Yankee. I came and stayed.
I travel extensively in my motorhome across the USA. I am an avid outdoorsmen.
I AM EXTREMELY WANTING TO CONNECT WITH CLASSMATE FROM THE CLASS OF 1960!!
wHEN WILL A CLASS REUNION BE PLANNED? I HAVE GOTTEN TENTATIVE DATES BUT NOTHING CAME OF IT. WE AREN'T ALL DECEASED ARE WE?
