RE: My Basic BIo: After BHS went to CSM for 2 yrs. Ran track 1 yr and met a variety of kids despite it's a commuter school. But, I was only a fair student & barely had a 2.0 GPA. Still, I had an interest in business despite my grades. So in 1968, I transferred to Chico State to major in econ/bus. I have no idea why they accepted me, but was thankful they did. The enrollment was only about 6,000 back then.. It was a great college experience & a friendly/beautiful campus in a small town setting. You could walk/bike to school, or most anyplace. The prof's were mostly all very accessible. These were the best days of my youth. And here at Chico State, I met my wife Sheryl, a teacher. from Gilroy. We dated for 4 years b4 getting married in 1973. So, yea. We just celebrated our 50th. So, I graduated in 1971 & 1975 w/BA.& MA. I first held assessor appraisal jobs in Glenn/Sutter/Butte Counties. But, eventually got on with Wells Fargo Bank (1978) as RE appraiser and later as a business loan officer(LO) in Fresno, Bakersfield, and then Chico. Didn't like being a LO for WFB. Didn't fit my character/strengths. It was a great/fruitful experience business wise, but stressful. So, I left WFB (1987) to work as an independent RE appraiser in Chico until I retired in 2020..
