Connie's Story
I was Marshallene in the movie, "URBAN COWBOY". Remember the redhead caught in the trailer with the convict when Debra Winger comes into the trailer? I had a vast career, which actually began in elementary school at Lamkin. I won the Ted Mack Amateur Hour when I was in 5th grade....in New York City. That propelled me forward into a rich and rewarding show biz career. I was also a twirler at Arnold Junior High before moving back to Spring Branch. I did 3 movies in the 1980's and I had several country records on the charts, including a really big one...Expand for more
called, "Still A Lot of Love in San Antone". I moved to Nashville and the rest is history. I did 8 Broadway Shows back in the 1960's and felt I would stay in theatre for the rest of my life. Life got in the way. I married an Ob/Gyn and had 4 children, but I had already had the kids when I filmed URBAN COWBOY. My youngest was 2 years old at the time. The Houston Chronicle did a front page ariticle in their entertainment section and my children were in some of the photos. Although I was only in the Cy-Fair area for three years, I remember them well.
