Connie's Story
Life
To start with, I actually graduate grade 12 in 1975 - but posted in 1976 as so many of my friends stayed for Grade 13.
After a year of University and a few odd jobs, I ended up as a Customs Officer at the Bridge in Windsor until 1989 when I got my first promotion to Commodity Specialist and left shift-work behind. I was very active in the Union from 1985 through late 1992 when I won another promotion which took me to London Ontario. A few months later, I joined Criminal Investigations and was very lucky to have been on assignment with the RCMP for most of 1997 - July 2005. When I came back to Customs, my job and I transferred to Sarnia. So nice to be back near the water.
On the personal side, I married and became Connie Macpherson in 1977 and divorced - but kept the name in 1983. Have two beautiful girls, Morgan and Log...Expand for more
an in 1981 and 1983. You do the math. Morgan married in August 2004 and now has two absolutely beautiful little girls ages 4 and 1 1/2. (I'm allowed to brag LOL) Wow being a grandparent is GREAT!! I love it! Logan is back with me for now - getting some $ together and got a better job here in Sarnia. Morgan and her husband both work for the LCBO in Windsor. For those who knew her, my mom is still as active as ever and can be found volunteering at Met Hospital gift shop. Still in our family home in Riverside.
I never re-married, get to Windsor often to visit with family and see a few old friends. Traveled a bit over the years - but hey - single mom - so not as much as I would have liked. Still into swimming, sailing, snorkelling - never lost my love for water and boating. Enjoying my life very much!
