Connie's Story

Life Attended Harlandale Middle School for 6th and 7th grades. Older brother Gilbert Carrizales was two years older than me. Hung out with Terry Gonzales (got in touch with her on Classmates after 23 yrs of not talking to her) In '85, I attended Rogers Middle School for my 8th grade year. Hung out with Stephanie Cortez and Karen Tello. Went to Highlands High School for my freshman and sophmore years. Still hung out with Stephanie. (as a matter of fact, we're still friends to this day) Other friends: Veronica & Monica Campa, Jeanette Tello, Jenny Gonzales, Melissa Perez, Anna Cortez. . . (please forgive me if I forgot your name - it has been a while). My cousin Denise Miranda was a year ahead of me there. ile I was there, I was on the flag team. Had a blast! Cousins, Sabino Rodriguez, Connie Rodriguez, Steve Sanchez, Rachel Valdez attended there also. I then went to Jefferson but only briefly. The last three months of my junior year. Sorry, don't remember names of people I hung out with there. I have pictures though. . . (I'll need to post those) And that summer I moved to CA. Finished off my senior year at Foothill High School. Graduated at the top of my class. I stayed in CA and got married and had 3 beautiful children ages now (18, 15, and 10). Had been with my husband for 19 years and married 10 years. Recently separated, I moved back to SA. Kinda weird after so long. But, you know. . . this is home to me. I've joined Classmates to get in touch with old friends. Would love to hear from you all!
