Connie's Story
After high school, I went to college at a little Chrisitan college in Henderson, Tn, Freed-HArdeman College and majored in Psychology and minored in Biology. In college I sang a lot and dated a lot, but never met Mr. Right.
After college moved to Nashvegas (Nashville, TN) and found a job working at Vanderbilt University as a research assistant. Then worked for a while as a social worker for the government and juvenile court. AFter that went to work for a wilderness program, as a Director of Marketing and Admissions. I sang in my church on worship team for a couple of years. Dated a lot of guys and had crushes on many. Three separate times I lost and gained back over 70 Lbs. At the wilderness program I met this awesome guy, Mike (who is in the picture) and we started dating on March 9th of 2000 and got married on June 30th of 2000. You do the math.

ere he was a youth minister and later senior pastor at a church in a town of 1400 people. I worked for a couple of churches running their childcare/preschool programs and then went to work at a the local school. We were foster parents for a while to a teenage boy. We then moved to Gardner, KS (a suburb of Kansas City, Ks ) where Mike became associate pastor of a church of 650. I am back in school to get my teaching certifcation so I can teach school.
My Dad and Mom moved from Belleville to New Harmony, Indiana where they bought and refurbished a 100 year old home. My Dad battled cancer and has been totally healed. My Mom had to have major surgery about a year ago and is doing well. My sister Jane and her husband Tim live in Oregon and they have two kids. My brother, J.T. and his wife Chrissy live in San Diego, CA with their two kids.
We never had kids because I was not able to have them and at 40 do not want to adopt. So that is all about me.
