Connie's Story

I always wanted to be a Vet when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have peace, concertration, and space to be able to deal with the day-to-day. I stay to myself and do some of the things that I enjoy. My personal hobbies. From God. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Terry DeBouse, because he was my classmate and bandmate a he was funny guy in high school. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the living room and add on a bedroom but I live in an apartment. My dream home would be in a private spot.. That my child is a very strong person in spite of all we have been through with her father my ex- husband. She teaches me that your children has strenght to help you carry on your life. I love my only child. She is my only reason for living. If I won $100 million, I'd give all of it to people who are in the most need of it, then spend the rest on my child, friends and myself. Yes when I attended college in 1985. Atlantic Union College. It was the very first time that I ever lived on my own at 18 years old. My current age is 42. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be just like me. I was so completely wrong. I am working on my Associates Degree in Human Services, Certifications in Geronotology, Drugs and Alcohol Counseling, Social Services Assitance, Computer Technology, and Criminal Justice. I want my child to be happy for me and to set an example for her, and all of the younger generations. My best friends would tell you I'm friendly, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as outspoken. No my fashion styles had changed over the years. I am not much into clothing. I share my home with no one, which I find lonely. I have awards, and certificates, no troph...Expand for more
ies. In 10 years, I hope to be in my own home. I'm going to get there by working on my degrees for a higher paying career, and working hard. Darlene Bryant was my childhood friend. We met in grade school years ago, but I have not see nor heard from her in 25 years. I think the wildest thing I ever did was laughing out loud in class at someone joking around during class time. I had a child I guess, and that I have bigger hips, legs and thighs, and that I live in another state. Some of my preceptions has changed over the years. I would marry one of my old high school classmate. Maybe my life would have been different if I made that choice in life instead of marrying my child's father, my ex-husband from another high school. Driving an ice cream truck. My first crush went in the service. I would be here in the state that I live in,being with the person whom I love very much, in his arms sharing my life and, deepest thoughts with. Mrs. B. J. Tillman. She was one of the best English teachers at Josey. I was inspired by her love of poetry. Thinking that I would be in love and married to the man and my child's father for the rest of my life. But things did not work out as I though, and now I regret that part of my life. I lived in several different places, FL,KY, MA, but I moved to SC after my divorce and my personal circumstances with my ex-husband, and our only child. My first job was at babysitting, where I got paid 15.00 to watch children. What I remember most about it is loving the babies and toddlers that I kept. I love children. When I first moved to Augusta, Georgia in 1971, and met our next door neighbors children. We became close friends, and we had so much fun together. I missed being a child. Those were the best memories in my entire life. I hope that my friends remember me as a sweet, funny, nice intelligent, and easy going person.
