Connie's Story

Remembering me is really easy...who else in school had the last name of DOODY ??? God knows I heard all there was to hear on that! Mainly, I'd like to be remembered as fun, happy, absolutely just me! I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right. But, I took a few wrong turns, but hey everything is cool. Oh God, can I say that here??????? The wildest thing I ever did (in school)threatened to kick some ass, she knows who she was! Damn, guess I had some attitude then too. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have coffee, music, and positive atmosphere to be able to deal with the day-to-day. So, caffiene starts when I get up, music on the way to work, and I then pretend I'm somewhere else!!! My mom - 'nuff said Mainly lived all over KC, until '88. Moved cuz I couldn't stand living in the city anymore. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Lisa Wheeler, because she was a true friend. NFL baby! GB Packers..is there another team of greatness?? Pets..dogs! We raise Pit Bulls, loyal and loving! My biggest surprise...actually meeting/marrying my second husband! Then finally having a decent life (after leaving home) If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my living room and add on a deck cover. My dream home would be with 40 acres. My k...Expand for more
ids remind me that I was just as much a pain in the ass to my folks! Love to see Mr Caruthers again. He made Art fun, even though I couldn't draw worth a hang! If I won $100 million, I'd give 35% of it to my own organization, then spend the rest on family, pet rescue and ?????. I'd be right where I am, doing what I do and with the man I'm married to now. My current age is 47. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be almost dead. I was so completely wrong. Career is a word that I think is misused...whatever we end up doing is a career to make a living. So, to sum it up..I always took care of my kids first, guess I always had two careers! I really did ok. I don't know. Anybody know the whereabouts of Greg Brock??? My best friend would tell you I'm fun, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as crazy. Well,no! I do like nice clothes, but don't spend a fortune on them. The weirdest job I ever had was and still is working in the "corporate world"! I share my home with my husband, which I find sometimes not joyous!. BOWLING! One do-over, how do I choose? Cuz, where would that put me now? In 10 years, I hope to be where ever I'm suppose to be. I'm going to get there by instincts. Still being a lot of the same 'ol me One memory I'll never forget is having the most awesome childhood anyone could ask for
