Connie's Story
I married right out of H.S. Had one child (daughter), divorced, joined the Army (discharged for medical reasons), moved to Ft.Walton Bch/Destin Fl. in 1981 and my life went on a downslide. I was heavily envolved in drugs (user and dealer)and alcohol, was an exotic dancer for 5yrs. Finally got out of that profession but stayed with the drugs for at least 17yrs. One day my family called and said my mom had a heart attack so back to Kokomo I came. That weekend I gave my life back to the Lord (1995) and have been living for Jesus Christ since. am I still here today. I am currently in my 2nd year of Bible College and loving it! I thought of writing a book about my life, it was anything but dull. I lived a very dangerous life. I lived and partied with ex-cons some are now back in prison for very violent crimes. One of them it turned out was a serial killer. God's mercy and grace was definately with me. I moved back to Kokomo about 9 yrs ago to be with my family again although I really miss the beach! I am currently married to a wonderful man of 12yrs and between us we have 6 children and 15 grandchildren.
