Connie's Story
I have been to Tucson, to Phoenix and back to San Manuel, back here because my husband of 31 yrs. decided with my doctor that it would have been good for my health since my kids were stressing me out and I couldn't say NO. My first 2 marriages fell apart, so this is my 3rd and final marriage. I have four kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. I have 17 grandchildren and up intil last month on the 3rd, I have 14 great- grandchildren. I have had jobs from Hughes Aircraft, and the city busses to Motorola to real estate assistant. tle more calmness in my life. I never thought that I would ever return to the town I was running away from because there was nothing here for kids. Well I'm back, actually I lived in Mammoth when I was going to high school, and now I welcome the quiet and calm atmosphere and I'm no longer that kid that needed the city life. I've been here for seven and a half yrs. and I still don't know if I want to stay here permenately since I still have alittle of the city life left in me. I'll leave it to the Lord where he wants me to be. I just miss being with my grandkids and great- grandkids,.
