Hi to friends from the past (& future?). I enjoy my San Diego life, living on Crown Point in PB and able to approach the board walk on Mission Bay by a two block walk or bike ride. Seems I've had three lives! Am I alone in that? My picture is 4 years old. Vanity prevails. And so does time! Life #1: I attended/graduated from ASU, married my college sweetheart who was bright, funny and handsome too! We moved to Germany, Monterrey and then San Diego. I sold for Xerox, lost my fabulous mother to cancer and was later divorced. Guess Jim and I both wondered what could be behind door #2. Life # 2: One year after my previous divorce I married a much older but fine gentleman, (a veterinarian), Millwood Custer. I attended San Diego State and got a 2nd degree in Exercise Physiology & a Masters in (Yawn) Curriculum Development (for purpose of pay scale >). Mil, my husband and best friend died in 2005 from diabetes and alzheimers. I have been teaching adapted physical education with San Diego City Schools until this past June 2014. Life 3 (ACT III of life) This summer I took a Golden Hand Shake retirement package. So much to do and, truly, so little time. In this new world of retirement my routine is slowly falling into place. I am currently working with designers to redecorate my kitchen. My favorite current activities are working with the San Diego Zoo through the Animal Care Fund which ...Expand for more
