Raised in Phila until I was 13, then raised in Plymouth Meeting, went to Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School grad 1968, East Stroudsburg U,B.S. 1972.; Columbia U, M.A.1974; taught in NYC public schools and survived, started an alternative school in Tucson 1976-1980, married74/divorced -1980, one son born 1979, moved to Champaign, IL, taught forever at Parkland College in Humanities, married the right one in 1988, had 3 girls: 1990, 1991, including one from China in 1997, retired a couple years ago and now keep busy wondering where the day went and how I managed working and getting it all done. I didn't.".
