Connie's Story
After high school I was off to Chicago and The American Academy of Art. Married my first husband, moved to Missouri and had two beauriful daughters. I opened a flower shop while in MO and ran that for seven years or so. Divorced and moved to Florida. Re-married in '83.
I've had some fun and interesting jobs. One as a year round Christmas tree decorator in a wholesale showroom and decorating retail stores for Christmas. Currently, I am a Medical Concierge but still dabble in wedding flowers for friends and family. Guess I'll work forever.
My husband, Bobby, and I love to travel. Cruising is our favorite. Living in Florida it's easy to sail off to the the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America. Last fall we did the Panama Canal. Our favor...Expand for more
ite cruise so far has been to Alaska. Add it to your bucket list, you won't be disappointed.
My youngest daughter, Erin, lives in London. She teaches high school English and works part time at the Tower of London. I visited her for the holidays in 2008. We took the Eurostar to Paris and another side trip to York. Would love to go back, especially to Paris. This December we will be going with my oldest daughter, Kim, and her husband Ron to Hong Kong & Shenzhen China. Kim works for the Salt Lake Tribune publishing their web edition and does some on air TV reporting from time to time.
No grandchildren but we have twin godchildren who are almost 4. What joy they bring to our lives.
