More about Connie:"I'm 59, soon to be 60. I was born in Hobbs, NM & went to Sacramento, Ca.in 1969 with a 3 1/2 mo old daughter. My husband followed us out & I had a son in 1971. Got a Divorce & was left to raise my kids alone. In 1975 I moved to Concord, Ca. Where I lived for about 6 yrs before remarrying a house painter & moving to Antioch, Ca' I was w/him for about 16 yrs. I lost my son at age 13yrs 10 mos of age. My daughter moved to Lawton, OK at age 16 ...Expand for more
to live with her dad. She married her high school sweet heart & I have a grandson 20, a granddaughter 17, a grandson 3, a grandson 1 yr old & a great granddaughter 2yr old. I have a good son-n-law & my daughter is a good mom. They live 10 miles from me & I hardly see them. I retired from Mt Diablo Unified School Dist in Concord, Ca where I worked for almost 30yrs with the dist. I promised my parents I would retire at age 55 & move out to Oklahoma to help them out, they're in their mid 80's & needed someone near by. It has turned out that we are helping each other. I had to come out of retirement & went to work on Ft Sill, OK. After a year I've left the job on Ft Sill do to medical problems & spend most of my time working around the ranch. I hope to get my 1929 Model A steet safe & ready for the Sooner Model A Club.".
