Connie's Story
After graduating high school, I took the proverbial "year off" before going to college and next thing I know it's 30 years later and I have 3 kids graduated from high school and 1 that will graduate in 5 years. What the..? I have 2 sons serving in the military (Air Force and Army), a daughter who just finished her freshman year of college, and my youngest son is in middle school. e by "shortly". I sort of miss the chaos of a house full of kids, but I'm learning to appreciate the somewhat slower pace these days. I'm looking forward to spending time with the kids this winter-they have managed to get Mom back on the slopes. They tried to get me out snowboarding a few years ago..I opted to buy new skiis instead. (They said they didn't think my old skiis were even legal anymore..)
I'm hoping the older boys will get some time at home this winter..too soon to tell:)
