Meta's Story
Life
I've been living in Arizona about 4 years now - moved just before our last class reunion. I love it here!! I work for the Forest Service, just passed my 25-year mark. Prior to moving here, I spent 25 years in John Day...moved there in 1973, moved here in 1998. I'm a computer administrator for the FS (ohmigod, I'm a GEEK!!!) and have less than 5 years left before I can retire!!

oenix was MUCH easier to type!) and I've been here since May of 2005. I can retire now, but decided to stick around and see if I can annoy more people (heh).
I was worried for a while I'd become the crazy cat lady as I passed 50, but I've limited myself to one cat and one dog. That's enough. In Jan of 2007, I had a total knee replacement of my right knee. I have to agree with everyone I've talked to who had this done: why did I wait so long???
Anyway, hope this finds everyone well and happy.
