Connie's Story
Life
What has happened since high school? WOW! Looking back it has been a great ride, so far. :-) I have been a waitress, bartendar, dj, assistant manager of a club, OTR truck driver, admin assistant, job coach, assistant counsler, girl scout leader, office manager, receptionist, sr accounting clerk and a technical secretary. A grandma, mom and wife, a girlfriend and friend. :-)
Currently working at ITT Industries, previously known as Kaman Sciences. I have been there for 12 years. I completed school in March. Obtained my BA in Business Adminsitration and BS in Communciation with three Certificates. I am contemplating going back to get my Master in Organizational Leadership, this fall, will see.
February 2005, after living in my last home for 17 years (and grew up in that house) I sold it. I bought a brand new home on the east side of town (Consitiution and Hwy24). Feels like I moved to West Kansas... hee hee Done with the front yard landscaping, (which I have done all myself) what a great accomplishment. I feel settled and happy with my home.
Now that school is complete I am working on landscaping my backyard. This is a fun project!

Have one daughter, and one grand-daughter, and one grandson. My daughter is married and bought a home in the same develpment I live in. My parents are now living in Cheyenne, which makes visits easier.
Have a wide variety of interests, here are a few dancing, bowling, swimming, hiking, road trips, getting together with friends, entertaining, camping, just being in the mountains is a great high. Still go to the Penny Arcade and chill in Manitou. Hike Gold Camp road (remember all time I spent there) and recently joined the National Historic Railroad Society.
Enjoy being single, but do miss having someone special to share some moments/things with. But being single has not slowed me down. I continue to do the things I enjoy, even if I am doing them alone. :-) Recently, started dating... wow! things have not changed much since the good old days..!
Enjoyed the 20th class reunion. Chatting and catching up with those I spent alot of years with was great. Would love to hear from more of my classmates. Surprises and unexpected emails and calls would be great.
Well that is me in a nut shell. Thanks for reading. Enjoy your day/life. :-)
