I am a teacher and a writer. I have had over 150 articles/essays published in various periodicals such as The Courier Journal, Woman's Day, Good Housekeeping, and The Christian Science Monitor. My first book, "Starting From Scratch" was published in 2005. I am a regular writer for "Today's Woman" and "Today's Transitions." Writing has been an outlet for me in the most difficult and joyous times of my life.
