Connie's Story
I guess it is time to update this profile. I retired from the State of Texas last August (2015), and got out of there as fast as I could. The politics were Unbearable! Imagine working for a government full of Ted Cruz's!
My partner, Brenda, and I got married last Valentines Day, after 23 years. We moved to Lummi Island, just off the coast from Bellingham in April. My brother and sister-in-law, Bryan Thurber and Kathy Robb have lived on the island for about 30 years. It's a great place to live and be retired! Our plan is to be active and enjoy the Pacific Northwest. We are getting used to the weather and so happy to be out of the Texas heat! Ask me again in February if I still love the weather!

xas longer than I lived in Washington State! I really miss it, but go up as much as I can. None of my family live in Spokane any longer, but my younger brother, Bryan, lives on Lummi Island-- near Bellingham. He was a 1973 LC graduate, and married Kathy Robb, a 1971 LC grad. They have three great kids!
I work as a manger in Public Health, for the State of Texas. My partner and I live in Pflugerville, with 4 Weimaraners. We volunteer and serve on the Board of Directors for Weimaraner Rescue of Texas.
I still like to write, read, love comedy of any kind-- literary or films, work in the yard.
I would love to catch up with Debbie Darling, if anyone knows her whereabouts. I'm not sure about coming up for the 40th Reunion, but it's a thought.
