Constance's Story
I was a Secondary teacher and guidance counselor for over 30 years. Designed and was the director of an alternative secondary school for pregnant adolescents, for 3 school districts in the East San Francisco Bay area.
In 1990 I took a leave from Fremont Unified School District and became the Director of School Services for Santa Cruz County after the Loma Prieta Earthquake of 1989.
I am also a CA Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice. I have done volunteer work at the S...Expand for more
eymour Marine Center which is part of the Long Marine Lab at the University of California at Santa Cruz. I also volunteered at the SC County Hospice Caring Project. the Santa Cruz Animal Authority (Animal Shelter), and other support grouops for parents and others in need.
My dear husband, Bud Gruber, died of an incurable cancerous brain tumor and his son committed suicide and his daughter died in 2007 or Pancreatic Cancer. I have had too many deaths of loved ones including my brother, Ralph.
