Constance's Story
Life
Well, I covered my work in the workplace section! hahaha I am a Christian and go to a fun church, once or twice a month. I am my own thinker though; I believe in evolution as one of Gods many miracles... I am an environmentalist in my heart and feel that the churches SHOULD see this as an obligation to preach on. I think they are starting too. I recycle everything I can and I donate to a couple of great environmental groups monthly. This mustang I drive is the last sports car I ever want for myself as I intend to buy an alternative car when I buy the next one. At least one that gets great!! gas mileage with low emissions....Update: I now have a very fun 2006 PT Cruiser! It accommodates a new Granddaughter and mylittle dog..-I am not a Bush supporter and Never voted for him! (UPDATE; Can you believe we have a GREAT NEW PRESIDENT!!! Finally... I had lots of fun supporting Obama's run and was as involved as time allowed..) I am a huge supporter of our military (wonderful young men and woman)..we have an obligation to protect and only call on when absolutely necessary. On a social level, I am very non-judgemental for the most part and just love good, kind people of all walks of life. I have two wonderful, grown children whom I love very much. I am thrilled when they drop by and the more I can see them the better. They are so enjoyable and hard working and ethical/moral.. I am married to my second husband. We have a wonderful, son-in-law and feel very blessed with this addition to our family. Speaking of additions to the family; I have my first Grandbaby on the way!! Update: hahaha.... She's here as of May 12, 2010.. What a joy!! - We know she is a girl and her name will be Charlotte.. She is due June the 3rd, 2011.. I am so excited. I do like to try new things at least once to see if I might enjoy them. Keeps things interesting...hahaha This year I believe Golf might be on the adjenda!!..hahaha I have a wonderful dog. She is a great pal.. . she loves to ride on my kayak with me! Good thingI have a small dog this time... Free time is hard to come by when you work really hard..) My two sisters and I are VERY close and always have been. We love our times together and try and have a yearly "sisters trip"... which usua...Expand for more
lly is just a weekend away... Still, great times always... There are many phone calls in between get togethers. Vivian lives just two towns away from me and sister Jenny lives 1 1/2 hours away. I am crazy about my nephew and 4 nieces. I took up racquetball a couple of years ago and find it to be a lot of fun and the exercise I need.. Summers are always a lot of fun as I love to waterski though getting up on my single is getting harder and harder... STILL CAN DO IT THOUGH.. :-) Also enjoy kayaking. Well, guess that covers a lot... Hope you enjoyed a little peak into my current life...
School
I didn't participate much in high school. My home life was very troubled and I kept to myself because of that. I so wish I had been able to connect more with others, but back then the crazy home life was all I could handle and I kept it all pretty private. I also fell in love with a guy 6 years older than me who wasn't in our school. He and I were together 11 years and have a wonderful daughter. Soon we will become grandparents for the first time, together.. My best friend was Steve Wheatley and we still have a nice friendship though he moves around quite a bit.. I'd have to say, my best school memories were ; hearing that bell ring and going to the front of the school and hitch-hiking to Daly City to the stables where I kept my horse. She and I would ride in the San Bruno mountains and It was such a beautiful feeling of freedom and excitement... I had many friends at the stables and even my little sister, Jenny would come up and ride with me often...
Workplace
After high school, I just plain worked hard at a few factory jobs (great money) and office work. I started taking evening college classes very soon after high school and found I liked them very much. Eventually I earned my AA degree. Later in my life, when married for the second time and with children old enough to be in school full days, I went back to college and became an L.V.N.. I now work 3 1/2 days as a registered Electrologist and 1 day each week as a nurse consultant in Sonoma County. . I love my clients at both jobs. Good balance. Being my own boss at my electrology shop allows me a good amount of flexibility regarding my schedule when I plan far enough ahead.
