Cora's Story
Currently working as an Administrative Assistant in the Public Relations/Community Outreach department at St. Mary's Healthcare, Amsterdam. It's really a great job and I enjoy being an associate there. Our department has some really great people, and I'm proud to be working with them.
I'm married and have two grown kids. Husband is great, my kids are great and are with some wonderful people too. They live only a few miles away so I am very fortunate that I can keep in touch with them.

Workplace:
My position as Education Secretary at Ellis Hospital was eliminated after 8 years of employment. Was hoping to retire from there but that didn't happen.
Before that I was laid off from Combined Life Insurance Co. of NY (was there 17 years and they decided to eliminate my job...nice!) I went to work for Ellis Hospital as an Education Secretary in the HR department.
