Corbett's Story
Life
After 11 yrs in Dublin, CA, which is about 35 miles east of San Francisco I relocated to Concord, CA. I am an easy going Christian single Father for my 16 yr old son, Jordan, a junior in h.s. Divorced in 1997. After leaving Wisconsin, I first lived in the Los Angeles area from 1980-1996 then moved to Dublin, CA. In S Cal I built underground and aerial (climbing telephone poles) cable TV systems. In 1995, I joined Pacific Bell/SBC where I am an Engineer. I love to roller blade, bicycle, suba dive, still play tennis, (Jordan has lettered 3 years in Tennis), and when I find the time - I love to ride my Harley motorcycle along the coast. to play the piano and saxophone with Jordan and sometimes we would perform at the Senior centers. I am hoping to connect with some 1967 Classmates.
Workplace
In 1980, I started climbing telephone poles to build cable TV systems. Through the years I worked on heavy equipment to place underground conduit, service boxes, manholes, and telephone poles and the support wires to hold the cables. I placed and spliced the cables, managed projects, and became a cable TV engineer. I joined the Pacific Telephone / SBC in 1995 as the Quality Manager in Los Angeles and later in the San Francisco Bay area. I've been a design engineer for AT&T for about 5 yrs.
