Corey's Story
After graduating from Cal Poly Pomona in music education, and a short time as a music teacher in Glendora, I worked on a master's degree in music at Cal State Northridge. I moved to Silicon Valley in the early 1980's and worked in a number of positions at high tech companies (including Varian, Ampex, Metaphor, NEC Electronics, Oracle, Cadence, and TIBCO), mostly in training and learning and...Expand for more
development leadership roles. Attending Capella University (mostly online), I earned my MS degree in education (training and performance improvement specialization) in 2007, and recently passed my comprehensive exams for a PhD in the same area, and I am working on my dissertation research now. I met my wife in grad school (she was a violinist, I a violist), and we have a son in high school.
