Corie's Story
Life
After high school I dabbled at college for a while, but traveled whenever I had the chance. Then in 1993 I seriously pursued a degree in English Education. I graduated from FIU in 1996 with a Bachelor's degree in English Education.
I moved to Frisco Colorado for a year, but found it was too much snow for this Keys girl. I started teaching at Coral Shores in January 1997(weird!!!).
In 1999 I was married to Terry Abel, and had a little girl named Caitlyn Mae.
I am presently semi-retired(waiting tables)so to spend more time with Caitlyn while she is little.
2005-Still presently semi-retired, but I am catering and waiting tables with Mangrove Mike in Islamorada, so as to spend time with my two little girls;Caitlyn Mae and Emma Lorraine.

We vacation whenever possible and work hard to enjoy our
"Key-z" lifestyle.
2007; Wow did this year fly by!! But you know how it is in the Keys, same stuff, different day.
I am still married to Terry Abel, and still living in the same house I have lived in since 1978, still working for Mangrove Mike. Our catering business has really taken off, since the Keys is such a "destination wedding" area. My two girls Caitlyn 8 and Emma 4 "grow like weeds" and keep us busy travelling from Girl Scouts, to dance,to sleepovers and school functions.
I did get my Real Estate license in October, and in my spare time I work at Moorings Realty in Islamorada.
Whenever possible we go to our house in the Abacos.
